It just may be that Hotel Posada Seremein Roatan has the best location on West Bay Beach. Seremein means thank you in the local garifuna language. This is a family owned hotel; the owners moved to Roatan over 20 years ago. They also own two other hotels, Posada Las Orquideas and Posada Arco Iris in West End. There are plenty of things to do in West Bay beach including morning walks, yoga, kayaking, snorkeling, diving, parasailing, jet-skiing or taking a ride on a banana boat. There are many dive shops, restaurants, shops and bars within walking distance. Those who want to rent a car in Roatan can park for free on site.
The restaurant Argentinian Grill is part of Hotel Posada Seremein Roatan, they have one in this location and a second one in West End. As you can imagine, the owners are an Argentinian couple. Grilled lobster tail and beef tenderloin are the most popular dishes, but the menu is quite diverse since it includes vegetarian dishes, pasta, meats, and seafood. They also have an extensive wine list. All guests get 12% discount.
Breakfast is included for guests, with the best Honduras coffee and fresh fruit. Enjoy a cocktail during happy hour while looking at one of Roatan’s famous sunsets. Or have a romantic dinner set up on one of the tables on the sand.
If you prefer to cook, you can do so in your room since they all have fully equipped kitchenettes with microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker and a small stove. They also have a dining area, as well as a desk for working. Hotel Posada Seremein Roatan is a boutique hotel with only eight rooms with capacity for four guests. Rooms have ocean or garden views and each one has its own private balcony with a hammock and a table with chairs. All rooms have private bathrooms with showers and hot water. There is complimentary WiFi available throughout the property.
